Blocking oversold items
Is there a way to block oversold items? In other words, I don’t want my sales reps to have the ability to place an order for an item that has 0 inventory on hand, and no Purchase Orders have been placed to reorder the product. This will alleviate unnecessary backorders in our system, and it will help to reflect our numbers more accurately.
I’m assuming a simple logic function/formula in Suitescript would do the trick, but I don’t have the slightest clue how I’d begin doing that. Is there an easier way to accomplish this? Maybe something that would automatically inactivate a part number with 0 ATS and 0 On Order?
