Subcustomers

Is anyone else having problems adding subcustomers?  Effective yesterday we cannot add them unless we uncheck the auto generated numbering within the parent group which really messes up out numbering scheme for our support and accounting.  We have been told nothing has changed and it is a defect that has just cropped up.  Makes no sense to me as it worked before and now it doesn't.  I have instructed reps and account managers to hold off adding subcustomers while the problem is being reviewed, but it is a S2 priority and we can't wait forever.

Anyone have any thoughts or similar experiences.....
