Non mandatory fields suddenly becomes mandatory in Online Customer Form since upgrade

Since the upgrade, my online customer form started to prompt users to enter a mandatory field of transaction form which was not present in the Saved online Customer Form

I do not need the field to show up in the online customer form.
I have checked the property in Setup>customization>entity field and
The entity field is non mandatory. It is selected as mandatory only in the Transaction form. Somehow the Online Customer Form requires users to fill in that field.
