Lead Source best practices?
We have run into some issues with Lead Source and I am curious to know what other users have adopted as best practices. Currently, we have Lead Soure set to be 'Last Campaign Sent'.
Yesterday, we had a new contact from a customer that was already in the database fill out a request for quote online after perorming a search on Google. When the sales team got the lead they saw that the Customer Record for that company already existed and just added the contact to the existing customer file. When the quote was created, the default lead source was Newsletter (last campaign sent to that customer) and not Web Lead.
