Software companies using Customer Center?

We are working on rolling out giving our Customers access to their Customer Center so they can keep up with statuses of cases (possibly issues, bills, etc...) that are attached to their customer record.

Are there any other software companies out here that have implemented this NetSuite portal and are there any lessons/issues you have learned or experienced with this?
