Setting up Incentives

I’m rather new to Netsuite.  I've searched the posts but was unsuccessful in finding any information to my question. We are looking for an option to set up incentives for our products that we sale.

By this I mean, if a customer purchases a certain dollar amount or a certain quantity of material from one category of items we would like to have our system set up to allow them to receive a designated item (downloadable) for free.  Is this something that is possible and if so, how would I go about setting this up. 

Any help or tips would be helpful and thank you in advance.
