Same number for Sales Order, Item Fulfillments and Invoices

Has anyone done any script that will make the IF the same as SO and same as invoice#, or a simplier numbering scheme then what it is right now. We are finding our customers and staff are getting confused with the different numbers

ie SO9999 IF 9999-1 9999-2  invoice 999-1 9999-2
