How to manage Snail Mail marketing?

Hi all,

We're using snail mail more and more and I'm running into some issues managing these operations.  The biggest problem I'm having is creating bulk merge groups that will exclude recipients that we have already marketed to.  For example, let's say we have 5000 leads and we have already executed a Letter Event on the Campaign record for 3500 of them.  If I wanted to run another Letter Event but only send to those 1500 that had not already received one how would I do that?

For the leads we HAVE sent letters to (via the Campaign Event) I don't even see the Letter message included on their Lead records.
