Closing/Cancelling sales order in different period?
Hi all,
We sometimes have sales orders that are booked in a month/quarter that need to be cancelled in a different quarter. For example:
SO1000 is created with a date of 7/31/2011, and then it is canceled on 8/3/2011.
What we want is for NetSuite to count the original booking in July, and then subtract the booking for the month in which the order is canceled/closed (August in the above example). NetSuite has a close date field on the order, but this defaults back to the original order date (7/31/2011) and so ends up reversing out the original booking within the same month. This is a defect (Defect #168154) that's currently an S3
