Closing quotes

Hi

Hope someone can help?

Last year I did a clear down of all old quotes that had expired, that did not close. And doing this though Mass Update, it emailed all the quotes back out to customers causing huge amounts of calls to me. :h_a_w:

Can anyone recommend how to default a quote to automatically close when it expires or how I can do it on a manual scale without re-emailing out??
