Sending Samples
Does anyone have any suggestions for sending free samples.
Our Current method is to create a sales order and apply a 100% Discount to the order. Allows the order to be picked, shipped and inventory removed.
THe problem is the discount is applying to the retail cost of the product. Ideally we would like to enter the Cost of the item in the sales order and apply the discount to that amount. But this raises a bigger problem. Adjusting the cost in the sales order shows the customer our cost of the product.
Is there a way to do this so it's reported correctly, but not show the customer the cost (in Invoices, and the emails sent, etc).
