Block Print Access on Lists

We have a custom role that is not allowed to Export lists, but we can't find a way to prevent them from printing lists. Support tells us that it's an enhancement requests to be able to block printing a full list of customers.

Does anyone know of a workaround for hiding or disabling the Print button on the customers list in a sales rep role?
