What marketing calls and emails do you see as essential?

What marketing calls and emails do you view as essential?

I'm setting up saved searches (of orders) for a new sales person to make sales calls from.  Initially I had filters set to sales over X dollar threshold that occurred on the "same week last year" (with no sales from that customer since that order).  They'd make a "thanks for the nice order last year ...what else can we do for you" call.

Then I thought about another search with "customer's very first order closed three weeks ago" with a X dollar order size threshold.  Our sales guy would call with a "Welcome to our company and did you find everything acceptable" call.

Howdy, Stranger!
