Win/Loss Reason

edited Nov 22, 2019 10:24AM in CRM 1 comment

Anyone utilizing the Win/Loss Reason field at the opportunity level?  I found some threads going back to 2010 asking how to make the field required when a sales order is created, but no one found a solution back then.  Same applies for when an opportunity or quote is lost.  How do require reps to put in a value?   The field doesn't seem to be available for the quote or sales order forms, which makes it that much more difficult to enforce/track.

Also, I noticed that if you list competitors in the opportunity, you can specify if they won.  But I don't see how to list your own company as the winner in the Won By field.  Do you have to list yourself as a competitor?

Howdy, Stranger!
