Forecasting Broken
We are having a problem using Netsuite’s Forecasting to track our Sales progress.
The Forecasting takes into account:
-Opportunities
-Proposals
-Sales Orders
-Invoicing
However, it does not appear to consider when the order will ship, except for the Opportunities. This causes a problem as we take Sales Orders in that might not ship until the next quarter. Therefore, if I run the Forecast for Q1 now it will show a Sales Order that is not actually shipping until Q2. Also if a Sales order was dated December 31st, but had not shipped in this quarter yet, it would not show. Finally, when I get to Q2, the Sales Order in Q1 will finally ship and be invoiced.
