Using TAPI with Chrome Browser

I have set up telephony integration with my TAPI device (Suite Answer ID 8881). It works fine in Internet Explorer. Is it compatible with Chrome? Any other alternatives? I find Chrome performs much better than IE, but it would be nice to click and call.
