Red Flags/Concerns with CRM/SFA in OneWorld?

edited Nov 22, 2019 10:24AM in CRM

Hi all,

Anyone ever seen a OneWorld instance where the sales team is given access to all subsidiaries and instructions to sell across all of them?  Any specific challenges or unexpected effects that you've come across would be super helpful.

For example, if you have the same customer and sell to them in more than one sub, you need multiple customers records for that company which can cause confusion (which one did I log that opportunity against?) or worse ownership conflict (Jim Smith is the rep in Subsidiary A, John Doe in Sub B, etc).

Anything else that folks have come across?  Honestly not interested in solutions at this point, just the problems that you've run into - trying to leverage the power of the forum to identify trouble spots before we start.  Any tips are hugely appreciated.
