Scanning Item Bar Codes into Cash Sale - Not working

We have a barcode scanner and all of our bar codes entered into Netsuite under the field "UPC Code".

When I scan the barcode, or paste the number manually into the "Item" field of a Cash Sale, I get an error that says "No Match". The barcode I am currently testing is "780410712105"

If I perform a global search for the same barcode, It takes me directly to the item.

I have followed the instructions from Netsuite that say: "To scan bar codes properly, you must use popup lists instead of dropdowns. To use only popups, go to Home > Set Preferences and set the Maximum Size of Drop Downs to 0. Then, click Save."  This is from the "Scanning Bar Codes section of the Help Center found here:
