Email Capture Plug-in: Change in Bounce Behavior in 2018.2
This notification is intended for customers using the Email Capture Plug-in. You may have set up an email alias to mask the NetSuite-generated email address for your plug-in, as documented inCreate an Email Alias and Set Up Forwarding, SuiteAnswers ID 41965. This notification is to alert you to a change in behavior coming in 2018.2. This advance notification is to give you time to prepare a solution, if you decide a solution is necessary.

Whenever a process, triggered by an email sent using the Email Capture Plug-in, cannot successfully complete, the email is “bounced”. In past releases, you could simply forward the bounced email back to the original sender of the email. In this situation, the email address in the FROM header was an identity related to your account.
