Profitability by Sales Rep?

I would like to customize the standard Sales by Sales Rep reports to get the profitability by sales rep (COGS less Revenue).  Seems like it should be pretty simple but I can't seem to find a COGS attribute to create the formula?  Has anyone been able to do this or find a workaround?
