"Ship Date" "Ship Date" "Ship Date" why can't we use this in a Report!

I am at a complete loss??? 

How is it possible that we are not able to use the "Ship Date" id "shipdate" which is a standard transaction body field in a Report? 

It just does not make any sense?  I can see custom fields and just about any other field in the report builder but not "Ship Date"   How is that possible.

NetSuite please please please respond?????
