Sales rep, monthly invoices and outstanding/paid invoices

I need to create a report that shows several items that I simply cannot find grouped together in any of the report modules/options.

What I need is to be able to see sales reps and their invoices for each month.  Along with that I need to be able to see each sales reps outstanding invoices and all invoices that have been paid each month, regardless of when they were created.  Is this possible?
