Inventory Aging Report

Has anyone ever created a report / search where it shows the last time an assembly build was done form finished goods inventory.  I am trying to determine the age of some of my inventory by the date it was last assembled/ built.
Any help would be appreciated -
I have tried Inventory activity report with the filter of Assembly Build and last transaction date - but the date does not go by the Assembly Build date - just when the last transaction for any transaction.  Does me no good.
