Alternate date range: Same date range previous year

Hi,

I have a report that I would like to have a comparative column that pulls out the same report dates as the report date but on the previous year. It seems so easy that If I choose 2011-1-1 to 2011-3-11 as report dates I could have another column that automatically shows 2010-1-1 to 2010-3-11, without the hassle of having to customize the report every time I need to do it on another daterange.
I couldn't find a suitable ER# to vote for, so I wonder, have I missed something?
