Report or Search showing outstanding sales orders with related customer deposits

I have requested help on this before and been directed to a SuiteAnswer but still not able to get what I need.

I want to be able to run a report that shows unfulfilled sales orders with the order amount and the customer deposit against the order.

Based on Answer id 42218 i have a Transaction Search with:

Criteria:
Type = Sales Order
Status = Pending Fulfillment
Applying Transaction:Type = Customer Deposit

Results:
Number
Name
Amount
Applying Transaction:Amount

The problem is that this only picks up orders which have a customer deposit. It doesn't pick up orders with no deposit.

Any help much appreciated.
