Online forms to update existing record
I just started with online forms, so forgive me if this is a really easy question.
We are trying to use the online forms (internally) to update an existing custom record type. The form used by the majority of the company has approx 10 fields, and the online form, I stripped it down to 5 fields (to simplify it for ease of use).
Everytime the form is submitted we get a new Custom Record (Service Order Request) instead of it updating the existing record. I setup under "Workflow" "Update the first record created". What triggers this? On the online form, I have included Customer, Case, and Primary Phone. I would think that these should trigger the duplicate warning.
