online update form

ok i understand that i can have an online form that checks for duplicates etc and either create a new record or update an existing one.

What i am looking at doing thought is sending an email to customers which contains a url, appended to this url are values for the form fields so the user can click on the link the form is populated and they can amend their details and hit submit.


what is the easiest way to do this and is it possible to prefill the form this way?
