Online customer form overriding Lead information and existing customer
I have an online customer form for event registration which includes these fields
1. COmpany name
2. First Name
3.Last Name
4. Email
5. Phone
What happens is....
If we have an existing LEAD of that same company, the information entered into the ONline Customer Form will override the existing LEAD information that we have and also create a CONTACT with the same information under the LEAD.
I want to have a relationship of 1 LEAD to many contacts but because the ONLINE CUSTOMER FORM does not differentiate LEADS from CONTACT and I cannot specify CONTACT FIRSTNAME, CONTACT LASTNAME, everything gets overridden into the LEAD record. Help...
