Passing custom entity field in form

Help, can anyone  assist on this question below, we are trying to utilize a homegrown online form that feeds into netsuite by using the post function in a html form example
<form action="https://forms.sandbox.netsuite.com/app/site/crm/externalleadpage.nl?compid=111111&formid=3&h=ca6596196d1fe42adf03&custentitysr2=Employee,%20ABC method="post'>
The form function without any issue but when I embed the custentityfield custentitysr2 field it junks out.  The field is a alternate approach since sales rep is not exposed in an online form.
totally stuck in trying to bring over a custom value
