Online Case Form: Limit State list to US States?

How can I limit my state dropdown list on case forms to only US state list? I do not see any general preferences that I can select that allow for only US states to be visible. It is time consuming and confusing for a Case Form initiator to search through UK, Mexico, Canada and other state/provinces. Thanks.
