HTML Tag to Get the Company ID from the Contact Record

Hi,

I am trying to build an email template that uses a tag to get the Company ID of the parent record for a company.

E.g.

I have a company "CL107119 Test Company" with a contact called "New Bob"

On "New Bob" there is a field called COMPANY that reads: "CL107119 Test Company".

However, if I use the tag <NLCOMPANY> it only returns "Test Company".

This is a problem as I'm using the tag to create a URL for an online form that I want to link to the Parent Company record.

I have tried setting up a custom field on the contact record that sources the Company ID.  However, this has to be set to not store value (so it populates for all the contacts currently in the system) but I then can't use the TAG!!
