Writing and keeping a bespoke letter
In our business, we often mail information and samples to customers, and these require a bespoke letter to accompany them.
I have created a template that pulls in the customer name, address, etc.
But I also need to pull in text from a field that is saved with the letter, i.e. something like the "Internal Memo" field.
Unfortunately you cannot use the "Internal Memo" field as a source for the letter template.
NetSuite Support has suggested that I create my "letter" field with the contact, opportunity, or prospect. But if I do this, next time a write a letter to the customer, I have to overwrite the previous letter.
