CRMSDK Tag for custentity field

Hello

I have a custentity field on a Partner record that I am trying to pull through to a letter merge. The field is a free text field called Provider Number and this is the Insert Merge Field «NLCUSTENTITY_PROVIDERNUMBER».

My merge returns a blank !

Any ideas why?
