Customer NAME used in email marketing

edited Nov 22, 2019 6:05PM in CRM 1 comment

When using a customer's Name (in an automated marketing email), what netSuite field do you use?

In the Dear Xxx part ...do you use both the first and last or just the first name?

We have a mix of individuals and companies for customer types.  I looked at about a dozen records and some have a first names and some have first and last names and some just have the company name.  Also, the name was sometimes in the "Company Name" field (in company records). Sometimes the persons name is only available in the "attention" field in the address. Sometimes the persons name is available in the "name" field (if type = individual).

Howdy, Stranger!
