Scriptable Template question

Does anyone know whether it's possible - via a Workflow - to send an email using a scriptable template, when I item has been received (from a Return Auth)

I have the workflow working fine, it's triggered from the Item Receipt each time a returned item is received - however, I don't seem to be able to pull through the customer/RA data into the template.
