CSV Address Update Imports

I am trying to use the new CSV import assistant and having trouble updating addresses for existing contacts.  I am having two problems:

[LIST]
[*]The import is requiring that I provide a "Main Phone" for the contact even though I have checked off the required field box.  I don't have a phone for all contacts.
[*]The updated address is creating an 2nd address rather than changing the existing address.  I have verified that the Label is identical (in fact I reloaded again and it created a third address entry).

Any suggestions?
