dis allowed characters via CSV import

Hi,

I'm currently using the CSV import tool to import a number of contacts into Netsuite.

I have successfully imported 400 contacts with 8 remaining.  The issue is I think because the names contain special characters mainly the & symbol and /.
I have tried using the & to get the names in that contain the & symbol but no luck

These appear fine in the UI when u view a company or contact with these characters in their name.

Is there a work around to getting this data into netsuite ?
