CSV Import on Filtered field

Hi,
Does anyone have experience with trying to CSV Import a file on a field that is Sourced and Filtered?  Receiving the "An unexpected error has occurred" message every time.  In addition Mass Updates can't be run on the field either while it's Sourced and Filtered.

I noticed that if I remove Sourcing and Filtering, it works - but this does us no good as we need to run the import (or the Mass Update) while Sourcing and Filtering are turned on.
