Duplicate Screening Prior to CSV Import

Hi All.

I was wondering what others were doing to scrub Lead/Contact lists of duplicates prior to import into NetSuite.  We have been using NetSuite for about 9 months now, and every large list import (500 records) generates a large number of duplicate records that must be then be merged to keep the database clean.  The duplicate detection within NetSuite is "ok" but the process is tedious enough that we would like to avoid importing duplicates up front.

Is anyone else having this problem?  We are currently looking at two duplicate detection products (WinPure's Clean & Match and HelpIT's matchIT) which can compare lists for duplicates, but I was wondering what others in the NetSuite community might be doing to deal with duplicates or prevent importing them?  Thanks.
