Import Customers and Contacts Together when Company Preference is set to "Individual"
We have a client whose default customer type is "individual." However, they also have a great many Company customers.
We can't change our general preference (to default to individual) because of some integration.
Nevertheless, we would like to be able to import customers and contacts together - but the "Individual" Y/N field is not available in the import mapping.
Possible that this is a really stupid question. How can I upload customers and contacts (together if possible, so as not to have to do offline shenanigans to map system-generated IDs back to the contacts file) together when the import defaults customer type to individual?
