How Do I Import/Update Sales Order to Close the SO?

We have a large number of Sales Orders which are in either Pending Fulfillment or Partially Fulfilled status. We need to close all of these SO.

Do I do this simply by updating the SO Status field to "Closed"?

Or is there another way?
