Import Processing Extremely Slow

Is anyone else experiencing extremely slow processing of imports?

We do a lot of importing, on a regular basis.  In the past two days we've imported updated address records in two processes - one for about 15K records and one for about 23K records.  The first with 15K, started on Friday 12/9 took just under 12 hours.  The second with 23K was started yesterday 12/12 at 2:29 pm EDT and is currently at 78% complete (it's 9:30 am EDT on 12/13).  I've experienced long processing times in the past... but not this long.  I'm intending to open a case, but thought I'd check with the NS community to see
