Can’t create a new customer with a custom role? Here is my solution

I’ve experienced problem with creating  new customers with a custom role. My custom role where a copy of a sales person role but with richer permissions.

When I tried to create a new customer with my custom role I got the following message ” No appropriate forms are enabled for this role. Please contact your Administrator.”.

This was my solution:
Go in under Setup/Manage Roles and choose your custom role.
Then edit this role
When you’re in edit mode on your custom role go to the subtab Forms then Transaction subtab.
You will probably find that your opportunity form in the list is unchecked at the enable checkbox.
