Want to restrict access to data by custom field
Hi,
We have a requirement to restrict the data that a user can see/maintain based on the value of a Custom Field held at Customer, Contact and Employee level.
The requirement is to restrict both the data items that a user can see (which we believe can be achieved by assigning a new role with either a new Entry Form or with access to custom fields defined by role) and also the selection of data records that the user can see (so for example we would only want to allow the user access to Customers with the Custom field set to a specific value) - we would want this restriction to apply to search options as well.
