Access to Opportunities via Customer Center?

Hello, we would like to provide our distributors with access to opportunities.  I don't see that as a transaction type to add to the customer center role.  Do you know if there is a plan to add this in the future?  Has anyone had a similar need and come up with a workaround solution?
