Is there a way for me to edit sandbox roles from a production account?

I was assigned a production custom administrator account from my company and various sandbox custom non-administrator accounts.  Can I edit any of the sandbox roles from my production account?  My production account like I said is a custom administrator role so I may be missing some permissions needed to accomplish this?  What are the permissions needed to edit sandbox roles? Thank you
