need help with script to validate opportunity status
Hello,
We are about finished with our implementation and are looking for any help out there with a simple script. I would like to (ideally) :
1) Check the status of an opportunity prior to allowing the user to save the opportunity.
2) If the opportunity status is set to "closed" - check if a field is empty (in this case "Win/Loss Reason"
3) If it IS - warn the user that they must select a value from that field (Win/Loss Reason)
Anyone out there who could point us in the right direction? My javascript skills are "limited".
