Joined searches

Hi,

We are having some trouble using save searches in a SuiteScript (it never seems to return consistent results), so we are moving to a programmatic search generation, which does work perfectly.

However,  I can't seem to make heads or tails of the documentation regarding joined searches.  (Note to Netsuite:  c'mon guys..)

I need to execute a search on cash sales that also returns a custom field we have generated from the customer record.  Can anyone provide some simple code for this?
