nlapiDateToString in Server Script?
I’ve been running a new server script (user event, after submit) for a few days now with no major troubles. However, I occasionally receive one of two errors. This first is "TypeError: Cannot read property "8.0" from undefined"
After some investigation, I have traced this to the user’s NS date format preferences. The script works fine for users with MM/DD/YYYY, while users with DD-Mon-YYYY throw the error. I have not checked the other date formats.
I am using the following API to convert the date which works very well in client script.
nlapiDateToString(new Date())
Should I be using something else for server script? The objective is to set a custom date field with today’s date.
