nlapiRequestURL postdata to PHP web page with Carriage Returns
I've got a textarea on an Item Receipt record that we scan serial numbers into. Our scanner always enters a carriage return after it reads. It is also used in other process which require the cr so we can't force it to something else.
We put this textarea into a postvar like this:

macs.replace(/\r|\n|/g, ";");
macs = macs.replace(/\n[\W]*\n/g,"\n");
macs = macs.replace("\n\n","\n");
test = macs.split('\n');

var my_posts = new Array();
my_posts["macs"] = macs;
my_posts["num_macs"] = num_macs;
